The former president's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

Young golfer preparing for significant competition

The rising star has impressive online following

The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates several golf courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to play and have fun," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions recently and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she can get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to go out there, have fun, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in the sport at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially with youth audiences.

The young star has a massive following and has started an exclusive fashion and living label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
