It was a emphatic three goal win for the City coach's side thanks to goals from Knaak, Shaw and Hemp. It was a result that truly announced their title credentials as they reinforced their position at the top of the table.

Successive Losses for Manchester United

This outcome signalled successive WSL defeats for Skinner's side for the maiden instance since spring 2024, putting them a sizable gap off the top team with their title hopes in serious doubt.
